Join Somerset RC Tri Now!

The cost to join the club is £20 per annum for Seniors. You can register as a new member online. The club year runs from 1st March to 28th February. Membership costs are reduced through the year so you will pay less to join us as we approach the end of our membership year.

If you do not compete but still want to join in with the camaraderie of the club then you can join as a social member for £10.  You won't be able to join in any of the organised training sessions, such as the swim sessions and rides, but you can be a member of the club Facebook group and come along to any of our social events.

You will be notified in February that your membership is up for renewal.

All important Club notices will be communicated by the Commitee via email from the Club's Secretary, to the email address supplied when you join the club. These are relatively infrequent and only for the purpose of "official" Club matters - you will not be inundated with these! Any issues that you wish to raise or discuss with the Club's Commitee (or Caoching Team) ought to be sent via email to the relevant Commitee member (or Coach).

Once you have joined the Club you will be given access to the Club Facebook Members Group page. This has become the primary means for communication within the club: questions, advise, opinions, suggested ad-hoc training sessions/rides, race reports, social gatherings, sale/exchange of kit and equipment ...and the exchange of all kinds infomation to enhance club life!  You will be emailed your user ID and default password. Please login straight away and change your password before using the forum.

The Club does have its own distinctive kit. The club has a range of custom made bike kit, tri suits and running kit. Contact Dave Thompson who currently holds and administers the kit stock, if you are interested. You can see pictures of the club kit on the club website here

We also have three bike boxes that can be hired from the Club for £15 a time.  There is a refundable deposit of £10 for the keys.  please contact the Chair to arrange hire of these.

To wrap up the season, there is an  End of Season Dinner and Presentations Evening. It’s not at all formal and definitely no Lycra in sight! This is a great chance to get together with your fellow club members and reminisce on the seasons’ highs and lows.

It is usually held in mid November.
