The Taunton Deane Aquathlon has been an annual event at Wellington Sports Centre since 2005. As usual, in 2020 there will be Full Distance and Short Distance races.

Juniors (age 17-19) can also enter either event and Youths (15-16) can enter the shorter course.

(BTF Rules: Age as at 31.12.20 not the race date)

This event suits all abilities and is great for beginners and experienced swimmers, runners and triathletes alike.

The short course is a 500m indoor heated pool swim (20 lengths) followed by a 5k run, while the long course is a 1000m swim (40 lengths) with approximately 10k run. The run is gently undulating on roads and lanes.

We pride ourselves on the friendliness of our club and the quality of the organisation, signage and marshalling to ensure you have a safe and rewarding overall race experience whatever your ability.

We are not for profit and price to enable everyone to give multi-event sports a try in the Taunton area. Hopefully this will give you the confidence to get on your bike too and do our other race the Triathlon in July, again with short and long course options for all abilities.

This year we are doing a special Triathlon 21st anniversary bundle. If you enter the Aquathlon before 1st March 2020 you can get 30% discount off the Triathlon Entry Fee!

Simply email: once you have entered the aquathlon and you will be sent a discount code.
