Burnham Aquathlon took place at Burnham Pool and it was a glorious day for the event and the weather was kind on those club members taking part as a light sea breeze made the sea front quite cool at Burnham.

An interesting start for each wave took place with about 3 or 4 people to a lane going off together at the same time and it was a bit of a tussle in some lanes. Julia Hector's lane and Sue Fulford's lane were very civilised about the whole affair and went off quite amicably. Whilst Nick Facey and Duncan Bawler had a bit of an "open water" free for all until order was resumed during the swim - but it makes it all the more interesting to watch.

Here are the results for those club members who took part. Duncan Bawler got second senior male and Julia Hector was first in her category. Congratulations to them both. There was a mix-up during the presentations of prizes which was a bit of a problem but it seems as though the organisers sorted this out.
